Christa Haney is the Primary Therapist at Triad Recovery Center. She brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, compassion, and diverse professional experience to her role, helping individuals navigate the challenges of substance use and mental health recovery with empathy and understanding.
Christa earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Post University before pursuing her passion for helping others through counseling. She later earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Post University. Christa holds licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in West Virginia, a South Carolina Telehealth License, and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCAS-A) in North Carolina.
With more than six years of experience in the behavioral health field, Christa has worked with a diverse range of populations and clinical concerns, including substance use disorders, mental health disorders, individuals with special needs, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Her broad clinical background has equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized, culturally responsive care that meets clients where they are in their recovery journey.

She works closely with clients and the clinical team to ensure high-quality care and positive treatment outcomes.

She believes that every person deserves compassionate, evidence-based treatment and strives to foster hope, resilience, and personal growth in those she serves.
Her clinical approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and collaborative. Christa utilizes evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and other therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s unique needs. Through her work, she aims to provide a safe and supportive space where clients can heal, grow, and achieve their personal goals.
