Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about getting started, outpatient care, insurance, and visiting Triad.

Where is Triad located?

Triad Recovery Center is at 150 Charlois Blvd., Suite 310, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. See our contact page for a map and contact options.

How do I get started?

Call (336) 203-9033 or contact the team online. You can explain your situation and ask about the next step without choosing a program first. Our admissions page explains the process.

Can I call for a family member?

Yes. You can contact admissions to ask about treatment options for someone you care about. Ask the team how the person seeking care can be involved and how privacy affects the information that can be shared.

What programs does Triad offer?

Triad offers outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, day treatment, medication-assisted treatment, and dual diagnosis support. A clinical assessment helps determine the appropriate level of care. Explore our programs.

Do I stay overnight?

Triad’s outpatient, IOP, and day treatment programs do not include an overnight stay at the treatment facility. If you need overnight supervision or another level of care, discuss that need with admissions.

Can I work or go to school during treatment?

That depends on your clinical needs and actual program schedule. IOP generally involves fewer treatment hours than day treatment, but you should confirm session times and attendance expectations before making work or school arrangements.

Does my insurance cover treatment?

Coverage depends on your plan, network, clinical needs, and authorization requirements. Start with insurance verification and ask about deductibles, copays or coinsurance, and covered services. Verification is not a guarantee of payment.

How much will I pay?

There is no single cost that applies to every person or program. Ask admissions about the recommended services, your verified benefits, and any expected personal costs before care begins. If you do not have insurance, ask which payment options are available.

How soon can I start, and do I need a referral?

Contact admissions to confirm current availability and any referral or authorization requirements for your situation. An initial inquiry does not reserve an appointment or establish a treatment start date.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Ask the team to confirm the required documents. Having insurance information, a medication list, and details of previous care available may help. Read what to expect for preparation questions.

How long does treatment last?

Length depends on your needs, recommended level of care, progress, and coverage arrangements. Discuss how your plan will be reviewed and how the team approaches the next stage of care.

Where can I ask about parking or accessibility?

Contact our team before your visit to discuss arrival directions, parking, mobility needs, and any other accommodations you may need.
