Patrick Cronin has been part of the Massachusetts recovery community for more than 17 years. He has spent his career helping individuals, families, and communities better understand addiction, treatment, and recovery.
Throughout his work in behavioral healthcare, Patrick has helped expand access to treatment, build strong community relationships, and support programs focused on helping people find the right level of care. His experience includes recovery advocacy, public speaking, outreach, and working directly with people who need help navigating the treatment process.
Patrick also previously worked as Program Coordinator for MOAR, the Massachusetts Organization for Addiction Recovery. During his time there, he was selected by Governor Charlie Baker to participate in the “State Without Stigma” billboard and radio campaign. He was also nominated for the “Advocate of the Year” award by Young People in Recovery in 2014.
In 2018, Patrick received the “Consider it Done” award for consistently going above and beyond to help people access treatment. He has spoken at public policy events, recovery panels, and schools across New England. His school presentation, “No First Time,” focuses on the risks and dangers of addiction.
Patrick believes strongly in the power of recovery and in helping others find a path toward sobriety. He lives in Dedham, Massachusetts, with his wife and two children.
