Todd Kerensky, MD, FASAM

Todd Kerensky, MD, FASAM, serves as Medical Director at Triad. He brings extensive experience in internal medicine, addiction medicine, and patient-centered treatment for substance use disorders.

Dr. Kerensky studied Economics and Finance at Washington University in St. Louis, where he graduated with honors. He later earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Shands Hospital.

Before specializing in addiction medicine, Dr. Kerensky worked as a hospital medicine physician. He later completed an Addiction Medicine Fellowship at Boston University School of Medicine and Boston Medical Center. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Preventive Medicine in Addiction Medicine.

Dr. Kerensky is also a Past President of the Massachusetts Society of Addiction Medicine and a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

In his work with patients, Dr. Kerensky focuses on individualized, evidence-based care. His approach often includes motivational interviewing-based counseling, medications for addiction treatment when clinically appropriate, and helping patients build a sober support network that fits their needs.

Dr. Kerensky is passionate about helping people achieve lasting recovery through care that is thoughtful, practical, and personalized. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with his wife and three children.
